Eight islands make up the Spiral. Eight families plot to seat themselves at the head of a dynasty. Each has its own set of inherited powers, and they use these special abilities to assert their dominance. Atum, the son of a dethroned lord, struggles to balance his quest for freedom and his bond with his father, reluctantly becoming a piece in his father's grand war games.
Meet Atum
Atum, the son of a dethroned king, lives on a hidden island chain called the Spiral. Atum yearns to be free from his father's obsession with reclaiming his crown.
Epic Fantasy Adventure
But the only way to escape is to become a pawn in his father's war games and survive the aftermath.
Rebellion. Ancestral Powers. Political Manipulation.
Will Atum's new, ancestral ability to turn into smoke give him enough self-assurance to finally forge his own path? Or will he succumb to the manipulation of the lords and ladies of the Spiral who seek to use Atum for their own agendas?
